Rugby World Cup 2015 required a coordinated overlay strategy across every host stadium, translating tournament-wide operational requirements into deliverable design and procurement information for each individual venue. From 2013 to 2015, Peter and Celia, co-founders of Venue Architects, were engaged as sub-consultants embedded within the Tournament Organiser, England 2015, to lead the design team producing overlay planning across all stadiums alongside supporting operational and procurement documentation. Peter additionally held a Project Manager role at Wembley and the Olympic Stadium during the tournament, overseeing delivery at two of the competition's highest-profile venues.
